It carries out the new products design and production according to customer’s specifications. It also undertakes implementations of new products / applications on behalf of individuals.

Designing New Products &
Applications
Continuous development of new products and processes is achieved in the Research & Development department by a team of experienced electronics engineers using high-tech equipment and instruments and research regarding all relevant new technologies. Contemporary trends and market demands are our drive to design reliable and up-to-date technological products and to continuously improve all the company’s products.
All these years so far, we have followed the most appropriate way of developing new products, (holistic study – prototype design – quality control and prototype testing – preliminary production for product testing – final quality control and testing – industrialized production). Autotech has achieved flexible design and continuous development of its products.
Every new product operates in real-world demanding conditions during the development process, which enables the product to be fully documented and refined before it is channeled in the production process.
Assembling & Production of Automation Products
Autotech undertakes the assembly and installation of SMD and conventional components as well as their quality control. The Company uses 2 SMD pick and place machines with a total rate of 20,000 parts per hour. The soldering of SMD components is performed in an infrared reflow oven, while the conventional materials are soldered in a wave oven. Autotech’s experience covers all kinds of assembly on single or double-sided boards, flexible boards, or special materials.
Improving Existing Products & Applications
Autotech, undertakes testing and optimization of products and applications developed by third parties. For product testing there is a pre-compliance section for products at Autotech’s premises.
Collaborations
At the same time, Autotech’s research and development department collaborates with educational institutions, research and government organizations such as the National Research Foundation, Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus, Technological Educational Institute of Athens, University of Xanthi, Ministry of National Defense etc., by conducting studies and research on the exploitation and implementation new technologies in the fields of Environment, Defense, Medical Technology and in areas related to the citizen and his everyday life.
